All-On-4 Dental Implants

All-on-4 dental implants, also known as implant-supported dentures, are an effective way to restore missing teeth on both your upper and lower arches.

All-On-4 Dental Implants

All-on-4 dental implants are an alternative to traditional dentures or extensive full-mouth dental implant procedures. This innovative technique involves the placement of just four implants per jaw, in contrast to the eight to ten implants typically required for traditional implant procedures. By strategically positioning these implants, the all-on-4 approach minimizes the need for bone grafting and maximizes the available bone support, enhancing stability and durability. These implants function like natural teeth, providing patients with improved comfort, functionality, and aesthetics. Moreover, the streamlined nature of the all-on-4 procedure reduces treatment time and complexity, offering patients a quicker and more convenient path to restoring their smiles and oral health.

  • What are all-on-4 dental implants?

All-on-4 implants are a revolutionary dental implant system in which an entire top or bottom denture is supported on just four implants. Each implant is strategically placed so that the replacement teeth remain steady and secure. The advantage of using four implants is that it helps promote faster patient recovery and reduces the likelihood of complications from possible implant failure.

  • What is an implant-supported bridge?

A screwed-in dental bridge is a full set of upper or lower teeth that are permanently attached to dental implants. The screwed-in dental bridge is the closest option we have to the feel and function of the patient’s own teeth. You will not be able to remove the bridge.

It is designed to only be removed by a dentist once per year. This bridge feels the most natural of all the options available and allows for the best biting and chewing.

  • How to clean all-on-4 dental implants?

Just like natural teeth, daily cleaning of all the surfaces above and below the gumline and regular dental check-ups are key to preventing any disease.

A manual or electric toothbrush with soft bristles can be used to clean the implants.
