Now that the school year is in full swing and summer is slowly fading into fall, we know that scheduling time for dentist appointments can be a challenge! At Romeoville Dental Center, we recommend that our patients visit us twice a year for cleanings and exams – and we’ve committed to making scheduling a breeze for busy families!
Why Twice a Year?
Visiting our office twice a year allows our team to keep a close eye on your oral health. Because many dental conditions like gum disease or tooth decay are treatable and even reversible if caught early, we want to keep a close eye out for any potential problems. This saves you time, money, and pain in the long run. We ask that our patients maintain a good oral hygiene routine at home: brush your teeth twice daily for two minutes each time and floss every day, and you’re well on your way to great oral health.
Of course, there are certain patients we like to see more frequently. For example, if you’re currently undergoing treatment for gum disease or another dental condition, we will want to see you more frequently in order to monitor your recovery. Patients who are smokers, have diabetes, or are pregnant can also benefit from more frequent dental visits.
Between work, school, homework, sports practices, and the many other responsibilities your family has, we understand that your time is valuable. For this reason, our office is open until 7 PM on Tuesdays and every other Saturday. We know that these extended hours give you the opportunity you need to fit dental care into your busy schedule. We can also offer family block appointments to keep you from needing multiple trips to our office.
